String dampner attached to headstock

Anyone have experience with something like this. Ad says this device "helps feedback" at high volumes, a true statement I'd guess. I'm fairly confident it would help alleviate tone at just about any volume. Maybe not.

Likely be a magic feedback eliminator on an acoustic.

Seems I have seen something similar, can't remember if it was on the headstock or the other end.

Tis a pretty burst isn't it.
