I'm sitting on my duff enjoying a non driving day and the office is pretty empty due to the rain storm and being a Tuesday...no company wide meetings on Tuesday. I'm getting my month end reports ready and listening to youtube...Songs in the Key of Life.

I gotta tell ya, that cat was incredible. He wrote that album at the age of 26....26!!!!!

After Innervisions and Fullfillingness First Finale....Songs of my mind.....

I remember Paul Simon winning the Grammy and thanking Stevie for not producing an album that year.

Right now grooving to Summer Soft.......

One of the greatest albums ever made I think. Back in 2015, I spent way more money than I was comfortable with to see him perform this album live, and I've never regretted it.

I would have liked that opportunity.

I'm not sure why but the end of Black Man just makes me tear up.....

Songs In The Key Of Life and Innervisions always provide me something new every time I listen, and I've been listening since they were first released. For me that's the mark of great music: Every time you hear it you hear something new.

Yep, he was always the greatest. I remember hearing Fingertips (and hearing the piano player saying "What key, what key?) He did that live when he was 12. 12!!!!! (Later, his own piano playing was just spectacular.)
