Yup, nothing sexier than a gal with a Starfire.

Nekkid gal with a Starfire :?:
Now now, down boy! I'm usually just thrilled with anyone I can talk gear with, let alone Guild gear. The wif doesn't play :(

FWIW her name is Catherine Popper from the band The Cardinals, Adams' sometimes backing band. I think she looks a lot like Gina Bellman. As a Brit, I'd imagine you know who she is better than our stateside pals.

Good song. Cool guitar. Lots of miles on that sucker. Sound hole erosion and all. But you can't get a new one no more. :x

I'll be glad to loan someone a Starfire...

Closest I've seen was the late Starr Stowe who posed for Playboy in the 1970's using a blue Ricky bass as a prop. There was some connection to Gene Simmons but that was not a time when I read the articles

As for the Starfire in question it does not have Bi-sonics or Dark Stars on it, but the PUs don't look quite right to be Guild 'buckers either. Bridge looks a little off to me as well. I wonder if it is a 90's reissue rather than a 70's with mods?

It is said here that she has a '67 Starfire. If so I'd say it has had PU and perhaps bridge changed. The burst, though, screams '67 to me.

She's a versatile player. I know she plays upright in the bluegrass circles too. Tony Rice comes to mind.

Interesting. The bass in the stills is definitely mid-'67 or earlier but the bass in the video definitely has two PUs. (See 2:13). Bridge could be the same but I'm wondering if they are two different basses. The dark part of the burst seems closer to the f holes in the video although that could just be shadow.
