This guitar's pickups are both mispositioned laterally and the polepiece spacing is calibrated for a wider neck & bridge than this guitar has. Doesn't matter.

Dave, I like EVERYTHING about that guitar. The shape, the black part, the white part, the guitar color, and the harp tailpiece. I like it all.....This guitar's pickups are both mispositioned laterally and the polepiece spacing is calibrated for a wider neck & bridge than this guitar has. Doesn't matter.

Yeah, me too. Strong art deco influence, but made with mostly inexpensive materials.Dave, I like EVERYTHING about that guitar. The shape, the black part, the white part, the guitar color, and the harp tailpiece. I like it all.....

This Dual Tone does have a fat neck but it's U-shaped. The frets are very '50s Fender: narrow, not tall when new and even lower now. It's due for a refret actually.Does yours have the funky baseball bat neck that rolls back in towards the fretboard, with mandolin frets?
The Ozark is more primitive than that. It truly is mandolin wire and it's a really funky profile. Thick, flat, and wide. This Dual Tone does have a fat neck but it's U-shaped. The frets are very '50s Fender: narrow, not tall when new and even lower now. It's due for a refret actually.
