What a great happy tune. Remember playing this over and over on the jukebox. Black Starfire Bass, and if I`m not mistaken, future Airplane drummer, Johnny Barbata.

You have better eyes than I do. I'd expect a Starfire bass with the Turtles but I couldn't ID it from the clip. It is Barbata on drums although some would say when he replaced Dryden in the Airplane, it was the beginning of the end :wink: I also note the Phosphorescent Leech and Eddie who went on to join Zappa in one of the incarnations of the Mothers.

I find it very interesting to look back and note all of the 1960's bands who had a little success, broke up and then had individual members who went on to greater fame. Buffalo Springfield and the Turtles are the first two that come to mind but there are many others, of course.
