Hello everyone, new to the site...recomended by talk bassers..... Guilds website for dating starfires end after 1969. Does anyone have accurate referrences that can help me out for both vintage and reissues? I am looking to buy. Also anyone selling? Thanks, Dr. Z

The "official" list here is generally accurate for Starfire basses through the 1970's. Not sure why you think it ends in 1969. Perhaps you did not know that through the 1970's Guild serial numbers were not assigned by model?
I don't think there is any published information much past 1999 which would include some of the reissues.
There are several physical details that vary as well. If you are looking at a specific instrument, post pictures and you will get opinions (some of them informed) about what is original and consistent with a particular time frame.
