Starfire 4 and X-150D wiring layout

What really interests me with this drawing is that it is dated mid-1996, yet the X-150D wasn't introduced until 1998. FMIC/Guild already had plans for it 2 years earlier.

Interesting, but not surprising. FMIC was working on the Newark Street Starfire bass in 2010 but the first ones were made in 2013 and for sale on the US market in 2014. I think a three year lead time from idea to consumer is supported by some other examples as well.
