Ran across a Starfire 3 that's been "fixed" badly a number of times, but might as well check the date. EK 1559
It's finished in cherry. Near the open position, the neck has been worn through the finish and is a dark brown color....but I assume that's just the natural mahogany color. The rest of the guitar's finish looks like someone threw lacquer thinner on drying paint....all cracked and sort of curling up. Clearly attempts at coloring in other spots that's on the binding. Tuners changed to grovers. Has a bigsby. Sticker indicates Hoboken.
It actually played pretty nicely. P90 type pickups.
