Hi all
New to this forum and as the title states, a new Guild owner soon. I just ordered a F1512E. Having owned several acoustics (currently a Taylor 314ce), this is my first 12. Seems Guild is the leader. Looking forward to playing it!

Welcome - an F1512 is a great place to start. Hang around here and you'll be up to 4 or 5 Guilds in no time.

It's here!
Man, I'm very impressed! This thing is perfect so far (haven't tuned it yet), and it just feels like it was made just for me. I couldn't be happier!

It even has abalone in the rosette like the US-made version. A nice detail. Congrats!

Congratulations! She is a beauty.
Now get that baby tuned up and let yourself get lost in the choir of angels singing.

That's right, Jbob1. Guild is numero uno, especially when it comes to twelvers. You're gonna have a problem not being tempted to move on to one of the USA built versions. They are to die for, really. I particularly like the Westerly JF-65 model; but any one of the other years and sources will do. If you go for a vintage one, make sure it's structurally sound, or you're ready to absorb some repair costs, such as neck reset or bridge re-glue. Nevertheless, IMHO you can't go wrong with a Guild twelver.

Welcome! You and I are both newcomers to this great site. In the short time I've been here I have been impressed with the great people and their knowledge of the Guild line. I foolishly let my 1985 Nightbird go a long time ago but the Orpheum will not leave my side.
