eBay's letting me know I have items listed more than 90 days without a sale and what to do next.

You can see the handwriting on the wall. Free ads for items that can sometimes take a year to sell aren't a moneymaker.

So these are the next steps.

Re-price so you can be like everyone else, regardless of item condition.

More pics of things that already have enough for someone to make an informed decision.

A much longer description of an item AI knows absolutely nothing about, that is over 50 years old and unique.

And of course, giveway shipping which is off the charts these days, while lowering price.

My days there as a seller are numbered, it's about over, and not even a very good place to buy anything anymore.

I know when people use the ai, because the descriptions are usually wrong for the item.

Of course before AI there were still people who would get it wrong with a copy paste. It was especially common when someone would have the description for a MIA model that was not MIA and visa versa because of the similarities in model numbers. How many times have we said bad things about a seller who uses the vintage specs for a Newark Street Starfire and pressed Buy immediately when the vintage Starfire was listed as a Newark Street one?

I have three Westerly guitars that were listed and priced as Newark St. guitars.

When a fairly worthless radio tube is referred to as "perfect for displaying in anyone's collection".

AI is a rubber crutch for writing.
All it ever delivers is a very lengthy paragraph of nonsense, and lies*.

Be afraid, be very afraid.

I just tried it on one of my listings and it added this, which is a bald faced lie.

"The product comes with a manufacturer warranty and is a single quantity item, ready for installation and use. With various OE/OEM part numbers listed, this brake master cylinder is compatible with a range of vehicles, providing peace of mind for car and truck owners looking to maintain their braking systems."

This an old part from my stash, AI missing the obvious that is an NOS as well as USA made part.
