OK, I posted earlier that I got a '56 CE-100, and of course it's not perfect. It has a Gibson P-100 pickup (stacked humbucker) installed in it, and while it might sound just fine, I think I'd like to get it as close to original as possible. Do any of you know of a source for the old P-90 style pickups? Or maybe have one that you'd part with (working or not)? Or have any of you checked the output of one of these? I might have to have one wound for me (Vintage Vibe Pickups are my favorite) to get a close match, but I need to know what the basic characteristics of the pickup is.

Anybody have any info that could help? Thanks!

Dean,

Guild/Franz P90s are rare and expensive. I think they go for over $300 now on ebay. To make it look original, you might pit in a repro P90 with an original Guild cover, but those are also hard to find too.
