Nice, Ralf. I wonder if the Sitka bracing is correct. They're all nice, but the F-40 teardrop 'burst is nicest.

Me too. But who knows, sitka is cheaper than adi, and some GSR models definitely were downspec'd for cost as it looks. But what do you really save by changing the wood for bracing? Thomann is known for little errors in the specs given on the webpage.

There is still guitar money out there looking at how quick that black D-55 sold at that price....I guess some people see the inflation rate and think they better spend the free money quickly... I see this also with high priced vintage guitars in Europe. Sometimes not even one day in a store.

Oxnard GSR M-20

Didn't know that one yet. McCabe's in Santa Monica got a GSR M-20 with black label already mid July 2022. Still available. Differences to the normal M-20E are the white binding around the top and back plus a white heel cap. And no pickguard. Satin NCL finished. The LR Baggs Element VTC pickup is...

It's for sure not for everybody I guess, but hey, there are a million guitars with "normal looking" pickguards, so why not some with more funky pickguards. That's why I like it.
