So I have decided to steal my dads 1963 F 30 on my next trip to NY. Problem I need a case to abscond with it. My problem is I don't know what the body size is exactly or what size case will fit it. The F 30 is an orchestra body but is it 00 or 000?

Any standard OM/OOO case should work. TKL makes some nice ones. Personally I'd go with an arched lid at minimum.

Would you mind stearing me in the direction of that?

I'd call the store on that one, My Dread sized Larrivee fits nicely in the one I bought, but that was ordered in for me because the other one was too small. Great cases though. Steffan

I just happen to have a shiny near-new Guild-branded TKL-made case that fits, but jut a little too tightly, my X50 and GF60. I'd not be at all surprised it if fit your F30 like a glove. The case is:

  • Length overall: 42.5"
    Body length: 22.5"
    Bottom bout: 15.25-15.5"
    Top bout: 12"
all without pushing the padding at all (as I said, it fits, tightly, my 16" GF60)

Feel like measuring the guitar?
