Hi Eric and Ben,
Just curious which neck the 59 would have. I think they got slimmer in the 60s? May be the wrong place to ask this but I just stumbled onto it. Thanks

It seems slim like my 1962 T100 D.

I’m selling a few guitars now and hopefully afterwards I’ll be able to buy a 59 T100. Do you happen to have any pictures, if you are still considering selling it. Thanks

It's a great guitar and the Franz pickups sound sublime. It weights like 5 lbs.It has a bigsby B6 by Guild.I play it with my band and am always happy with the sound. It has a small piece of the headstock overlay missing on the upper treble side near logo.It hasn't bothered me though I do have a new old stock Hoboken overlay that can be included if buyer is interested.

Looks very nice. Did the bigsby come with it originally? As I mentioned I’m selling a few guitars now and will be in the market for a T100. What area of the country are you located in?

The bigsby isn't original to the guitar. It is from the early sixties.Probably off a Starfire lll.I have the original harp tailpiece also.It has an aftermarket Compton brass bridge which are custom made to match guitars fingerboard radius exactly thus greatly improving playability. Its a single solid piece of brass without any moving parts and this really improves tone and sustain.Check out Compton Bridges.Gretsch developed this technology in the late 1950s at Chet Atkins request for his signature models.
If you're interested in the guitar know that I'll be selling it sooner than later.I have had some local interest as well.Just a heads up.

Thanks for the quick follow up reply. Im still a few weeks from being able to commit, so if you can sell it locally I totally understand and that would be easier too for you. Looks like a real nice one, good luck with it. If it’s still available when I have the funds to buy, I’ll reach out to you.
