Ive never held a guild hollowbody of any sort before but would love to try one out. I was wondering about the actual dimensions of a Starfire guitar compared to a Gibby 335. Ive held alot of those but im wondering if the SF i smaller or larger guitar.

Hi KB: SF3, 2000 model; width at upper bout 11 1/2", at lower bout 16 1/2", 2 1/8" thick at edge; slightly thicker in middle due to gentle arching. Don't know the dims of 335. At the risk of doing the Geezer Guild commerical; I've never had the pleasure with an original SF but the reissues, like their acoustical cousins, have the same nearly 1:1 ratio between cost and value -wonderful guitars in their own right; fit/finish, tone, and feel and more than good enough to put into serious question the price spread between the SFs and 335s. I've got a blonde but ya gotta get a load of Jeff's 'burst; Here really sensational. cj

335 specs here, current production specs I suspect.
Seems to me the 335 & SF have much in common. Size/Feature etc. Body depth on mine 2" & across the lower bout a fat 16"
