I have a guitar I'd like to boost internally, do y'all know of something tiny, simple, and can I wire this in at the jack?

Anyone tried these?

I don't really need EQ boosts, but it might be ok, brightening the neck pickup if needed.

EMG makes a pot/boost called the Afterburner. All their stuff is solderless now which isn’t a plus to me but it’s a compact solution.

Guitar Fetish has a few simple inexpensive active EQs circuits that will most likely act as a clean boost.

There are also a few from a choices on eBay from a Polish company that seem affordable enough to try out.

I once had a late 70s Ibanez Studio ST200 with an incredible onboard active EQ cut/boost system that added a lot of sparkle and clarity to the treble and mids. They had these in some Artist models too.
