Server Upgrade Imminent

My server got compromised and it was because of the old software running LTG. I've let it run on the old code so as not to upset too much at once, but the time has come to upgrade.

Sadly, the new version of VBulletin is... not great, so I'll be migrating the site to new software called XenForo. For those that have been to The Gear Page (TGP), it's the same software in use there.

Unfortunately, upgrading is not a simple task because I also have to upgrade many of the underlying applications that help to make the site run, and that means things like my blog will be similarly affected.

I will try to make this as smooth as possible, but there is a real possibility that upgrading the database will bring this site down. I'll update when any changes have been made. I'm posting this to the FB group, too - just in case.
