Hi Hans,
Thanks a million for the information. I wasn't sure and it's always good to know. I'm going to update my signature now! Asking to see some pics is like asking a proud parent to see their kids! I'm happy to oblige.
It's a beauty. The lighting isn't that good on these. The wood grain is outstanding, especially with good light, and the construction, playability, and tone are super. The only thing I wish it had was a SF4 truss rod cover. I like it a lot. I'm proud to show it off when I use it playing out. I haven't had the pleasure of playing a vintage SF4 so I don't have the ability to compare it to one, but i'm very happy with this one.
I did have another question for you when you have a chance. I was wondering if you had anything in your database about my SFIII. SN 17533. I got it about a year ago and had corresponded with Pat Mead about it. He may have corresponded with you but I'm not sure. He said he might. He's the one that told me it was unique because of the Amberfire III label. I posted a couple of pictures in my first post "new member - guild enthusiast" - or something like that - if you wanted to have a look. It's a beatiful guitar and sounds wonderful. Thanks for your time and the SN information - I really appreciate it Hans. I hope your day is a good one! - Phil
