I'm sure it's about drinking the champagne and celebrating... not exactly staying up until the new year. At this point we've all had enough new years, some good and some bad, and so now let's just be okay that we've made it to another one!!! YAAAY!! I'll cheers you @Brad Little a bit early for me, and a bit late for you. But the sentiment is still the same!! Happy New Year to all my LTG friends. I'm a lucky guy....

p. s. - I'll probably be asleep if the fireworks don't keep me up too much.... they go CRAZY here....

Same here - we used to have two neighbours who were competing about it - in good spirit - but next morning the street looked like there had been WW III going on.

Many dogs, cats etc are quite afraid of the noise - luckily our Jymy does not care.

And while at the subject - happy new year to everybody 🥁 🐾 🎼 🍷 😊

As someone who finds mayonnaise to be foul and revolting, that is… gross.

Oh my! Just read the ingredients. 6 envelopes of gelatin?! 3 pounds of cottage cheese?! And someone somewhere at some point in time thought this was a good idea, good enough to put into print for all posterity? Along with 42 other ways to be a "proud cook". Mmmmmmm, I don't think so.

Hey, but I bet that jar was still a quart size, and maybe even glass!

Appears to be a reference to this song (which ain't gonna happen if his car won't pass a UK-required safety inspection):

For those not "experienced," this looks pretty much what driving in an old-time New England snow storm would look like. There is something about the architecture that makes me think "New Hampshire," though I am sure it could be anywhere...

(BTW, an "institutional foods" truck just like that US Foods semi just went down our street, as a shortcut to the high school )

I was thinking upstate New York, but in any case it is a North American-built pickup truck with a Fisher snowplow mounted on the front.

"Sold Out". I'm guessing it wasn't GAD who got there first.
