Since LeFinPepere lives in France it needs to be something local in France or in the EU to avoid high shipping charges and the very high import tax from abroad. Sites like "Le Bon Coin" offer many Guilds in France, I guess same with ebay.

Many more there.

I've owned a Martin and I've owned a Taylor that have come and gone. Great guitars but in my opinion vastly over priced for what they are.

I now have a Westerly Guild D140CE that lacks nothing that those guitars had and I didn't have to sell my sole to own it. $900 - $950 new.

And if you're interested in those make sure to check out the Japanese Sigma/Martins from the 70's through 1980. I see the one I've got on the net once in awhile going from +- $500 to $800 depending on condition. It's as good as any D18 I've ever played.

Interesting, according to that sheet an F-20 would be a Jumbo! I guess it only applies to modern guitars.
"Yes".

The old "F" designation covered 4 body sizes, those are now categorized as OM, M, and F (17" jumbos only, and the old 16" F40-body is no longer being produced).

The F20 is now an M(body size)40(top/body woods) ;)

I'm a Guild loyalist, but if you're looking for cheap and good, Godin and its other acoustic brands (Art & Lutherie, Norman, Seagull, Simon & Patrick) have some terrific guitars at down-to-earth prices.

Thanks Charlie Bernstein! I have noticed those Canadian brands, I tried a Seagull which was very nice...Trouble with Guilds, I have to go to Paris to try one,and the sellers in Parisian shops tend to look down their noses at you.(If you don't buy a "59 Les Paul) I think I'll wait till something pops up used on Le bon coin , go test it , and hop, voilà!!!

Thought they looked down their noses at everybody equally?

And fraternally!

I have made very good experience with a guitar shop in Paris, Guitars Rebellion. They are super nice and helpfull! No nose down looking. Only electric guitars though IIRC.

Get a Guild D120. I really like mine. I have an Epiphone inspired by Gibson J45 and a 1971 Martin D18, but my favorite guitar to play is the D120. Nice to look at too.
