Damn, where'd you find that, walrus. Thumbs way up.

No surprise, that's got a real Alice in Chains groove.

Performing "Brother":

I’m in the Pacific Northwest so Heart and A.I.C. Mean a lot to me. Jerry is a great guy and all three here are legends. And of course they use guilds...only the best will do!

At the risk of being really morbid, this is my favorite Alice in Chains song. Yup, Guild content:

I really liked that one. Probably one of the first songs I heard that sent chills down my spine.

A.I.C. Lives on,
After a much needed break after Laynes death they recruited William Duvall and he has done a superb job within the band and has added some new color(s) to the tone of the band. Layne can and will never be replaced but Jerry Cantrell and company have come out swinging, just listen to “Black gives way to blue”and “Rainier fog” albums and you tell me what you think. I’m a traditional country guy but Cantrell and company hold a special place in my heart. Jerry is an artists artist everything he does comes from deep within his soul. Thanks William for stepping in and helping the band move forward after Laynes death. By the way Laynes mom has been working hard to help others with addiction issues and every year at Laynes birthday we all celebrate his life it’s an annual event in the northwest!

You picked a great one...Layne sang the hell out of this song as well. It tells the story of Jerry’s dad being a Vietnam vet. My two older brothers are Vietnam vets and this tune hits close to home for me.

Weird, I thought I posted it in acoustics?

Thx GAD, this is really a pretty amazing clip, a couple heavyweights on Guilds, and they sound good.

I like how Nancy messes up the lyrics and then proceeds to say shit in frustration with herself, at about 5:05 of that clip

BTW, you may have heard their "big hit", "Man in a Box":

walrus

Kinda glad I missed the 90's working 16 hour days if that was a "hit".

But i enjoyed the other 2 videos....

I get a kick out of Cantrell's age appropriate hair cut vs. Sammy's. Frampton and David Gilmore have done the same.

Keef is probably the only older rock star that has the ability to pull it off

We‘ve seen Sammy Hagar play his F50M often In videos. But what are the odds of two Guild Flagships in a trio? BTW, I like Nancy Wilson’s Tak. I have the same model but older version. Cedar tops are so much different sounding than spruce, very crisp and great for stage. Not sure if Guild offered any versions.

I have a Guild CO-1 with cedar top. It is a very nice playing and sounding instrument. The series that this model is a part of is known to have neck issues but when you find a good one you will be well rewarded.

Here is an example
