Yeah, but they not cheap!

OI used to hit the flippers so hard the ball would smack against the glass!

I played several Rush songs - note for note which is a rarity for me - Tom Sawyer, Working Man the two I remember the most, seemed it was a lot more important at the time than Zeppelin, etc.

Personally never had an issue with Lee's vocals, the music itself was just way too good.

After watching the OP video/sountrack of Tom Sawyer, all I can say is Wow! Peart was one freakin amazing drummer.

Pinball Wizard just happened to be a huge song for me, another note for noter, that intro, the strumming, for years Townshend was my all time guitar Hero, I was just behind the times like that, behind blues eyes.

I still love pinball! I've never played that machine though, but it looks pretty cool! We're lucky enough to have a bunch of retro arcades in my city, and there are pinball tournaments pretty often. We even have a pinball museum!

In college, my buddies and I used to rock this machine in the lobby called Gorgar all the time. It was awesome!

This was my favorite machine from my youth:

It had a spinning disk in the center that would send the ball careening all over!

Here's a closer look for you on your phones!

It was also one of the first games to have "multi-ball"!

In high school I went to see the Who's "Tommy" movie. I'm guessing maybe of you did, too!

I saw The Who on the tour they did to promote the Tommy album. I have no clear recollections of the show, surprise, surprise. I know I was there because I went with friends who tell me I was there and because I have the ticket stub somewhere.

I saw the movie when it came out. I wasn't overly taken with it. I saw parts of it again and again when I worked at a university student union repertory movie theatre.

Much later, my elementary-school-aged son, who had become a huge Who fan, noticed an ad for the touring stage production of Tommy, and was relentless in his insistence that I take him to it. I got tickets and we went. He had a blast. The stage show was much better than the movie - tighter production - no big star egos to contend with. I had to buy my son a souvenir poster at the merch-booth during intermission. He still has the poster, It is up in his apartment now. It is in an Ikea frame, and it has our ticket stubs, which I did not know he had taken and kept, in the picture frame, too.

That is so neat! What a wonderful memory, for your son, too, apparently.
