Roger and Pete still got it. Guild F50 looks like to me too...

Actually it's a 12-er, and looks like those custom arabesque inlays seen on some F512's and 612's. They're kind-a blurry but look too big for simple dots that would imply F212 or 312. And pretty darn sure the sides aren't stained maple so not a 412.

Looks like the 612.

Woody, you don't want Townshend's F50R, lol.

They may "still got it" but that video is from June 30, 2014. (Click to watch on YouTube).

Yep…and while for many, 10-11 years doesn't mean all that much, for a lifelong rocker, the difference between being a 70 yr and 80 yr old man can take much more than any typical 10 yr toll. Last live vid I saw of theirs (from just a month ago), my initial reaction was that they should probably hang it up touring as The Who. 😔

I bought TXbumper57's F-612.

I've been told only 18 were built. 6 each in 70, 71 & 72. Of the 10 survivors, 4 are with the original owners or families of same. Townsend is one of the original owners, along with Clapton and Denver's estate.
18 could be right, lp, but I wouldn’t be too sure that there are only 10 survivors. There’s also the guy from America who had one. We’ve also seen a few come and go here on LTG without provenances.

Anyway, yeah, definitely a “grail” guitar for those of us who especially adore 12-strings.
