I really shouldn't like this (the colour, that is), but I do find this quite attractive.
I assume there were a range of colour options, and would like to see other colours, merely to further educate myself on the subject.
Can anyone tell me where to go please ?
Perhaps I should re-phrase that before the comedy starts !
Where can I view examples of these ?

Hello Hans, and thanks for the images. All three colour options are very attractive, If I had ever been in the market for one, it would have been difficult making a colour choice ! Probably an orange one I think.

My nephew, by the way, is LOVING his SF4.
He doesn't know it yet, but when I next see him, he's going to fill his Uncle with Heineken, my reward for "educating" him !!

:D coastie99, post a pic. What color you looking at? I have a F. Red one but I really like the funky light blue they made for a short while.

Hey Coastman,

The Redhead came in while I was looking at your git. She says "Should have known he'd have a blue guitar. "

Later on she see's your picture & says: "Pretty cute for a geezer."

Don't know if you feel better or worse, just thought I'd pass it on.

Jeff.

Well, the Redhead must be right, 'cos that's what all the women say !!

This ISN"T my guitar - it's a guitar on an Ebay auction.
A blue guitar would be just about my last colour choice, but I did think this one was kind of attractive somehow !

 I want that Ice Blue X-160. I wonder if it's Corona because taht color didn't come out until after the move I think. Mine is a Westerly but I don't think I would care as long as it is as good.

Anyone want to buy my F Red? It is like new w/o any problems. I may bid on the Ebay Ice Blue & try to sell my F Red.

Help a old gezzer out. I know someone wants mine.

Great looking electric. Coastie, I would've thought you'd have a hankering for the black one?

 coastie99, I forgot to keep my eye on the auction. Sold for about $1425.00. I think my money is better off in my hands right now. If I had followed the auction I might have gone for it

My ('00), built in Westerly of course, is that "Icy Blue" color.

They are all attractive, but I like the blue best.

You might get the clear (newer) replacement knobs from Fender. They let the finish color show through better.

As for that eBay listing, as far as I know, they were all fitted with DeArmond 2000s, not 2ks (even though that's what the early promos said).

And the lower bout on mine measures out at 16 1/2" (the depth is 3 3/8", the same as my X-500).

The one on eBay is a Corona made guitar. Totally different specs. including the body measurements.

Sincerely,
