Not an easy thing to put in words, and there’s sadness abound, as we put our best buddy of 14 years to sleep today. Cabo was a gentle soul, very sweet and will be sorely missed. 😭

Sorry for your loss Boneman. That first picture is priceless. Dogs are without a doubt God’s gift to man’s kind. RIP Cabo.

Thanks, he was loved by all who met him. We’d always get stopped on the street by strangers just wanting to say how handsome he was.

Awwww, noooo. I'm so sorry. This whole letting go thing is just so tough. Sending strength, my friend!!
Thanks Tom!, strength is needed for me and more so for my wife, since she raised him since birth. When we started dating is when I met him, he was about 3, so these last 11 years with him were certainly special. She is crushed. Hard to have to let go and say goodbye. But at least we were there with him comforting him before the final breath. Poor guy isn’t suffering anymore at least.

Yeah, that decision is a tough one. We had our girl Katie for 22 years. At 18 we took her in thinking it was the end, and the vet said, no leave her overnight and did some antibiotics and care and she bounced back for another 4 years! But once that time came, we rushed her in and it was over rather quickly. After that many years you still see them out of the corner of your eye, or look for them before you remember. She was the BEST!!

Stay strong, my friend!!

So sorry for your loss. We are still grieving over our sweet Koko dog; we had to do the same thing with her just last week.

It's like losing a family member. Wishing you well.

It's the worst. I feel for you. We lost our beloved Bella last fall. Still struggle with it. These sweet dogs are supportive friends, in some ways like children, needing care, also loyal and always present. It's hard to let go of all that.

So true. Today is really hard without him there smiling waiting for breakfast.
