Thanks for the memorable clips. This is one of my childhood hereos. Probably one of the finest character ever created.
And he played guitar. Got to love it. The team of actors in the Andy Griffith show were not to be equaled. Tons of laughs and some great stories.
I have most of his old movies too although still searching for some.
RIP Andy.

I heard he had passed over the weekend, but wondered to myself other than "Mayberry," what had he done? Then I remembered No Time for Sargents, perhaps my favorite movie as a child. Here is a great interview with him regarding that movie (now I have to find the book!)
