Rick: 330 vs 360

330 mainly because of the pointy versus rounded horns. Even better would be a 360V because they are pointy and have bound top and back with toaster pu's, but I don't think they don't make those anymore.

Yes, the 350V has remained in production. I had one, it was okay, but I liked the 360V better. The 360V64 (below) is the one that was discontinued.

Saw John Kay & Steppenwolf probably 15 years ago, he played a whole bevy of Ricks that night, all lined up in a rack, his roadie kept bringing out newly tuned ones for him.

330 due to many reasons:

1. lack of binding on the fretboard: the frets on bound fingerboard Rics don't go all the way to the edge, giving you even less space.

2. It's 24 fret which tends to lead to me playing in more interesting places on the fretboard.

3. It's also more comfortable, IMO. Less sharp on the back edge

4. More resonant, better bass

5. Oh, and pointy horns.
