One of my favourite Singer/songwriters Richard Hawley playing the opening song off his 'Truelove's Gutter' album. Is that a D40 or D50.I'm guessing at a D40 but i'm a little wet behind the ears on such matters.I own one Guild, my first real quality guitar-a 1984 Guild d35.

Here's what Richard had to say regarding Guild's(and that one in particular):"Shez(co-guitarist in Hawley's band) has an old 60's Guild we use a lot thats an ace guitar"

"Guilds are hit and miss but when you get a good one...........!!!!!!"

Sorry tried to embed the video but couldn't figure out how to do it.

Welcome aboard Manalishi! That's one of my all time favorite tunes. There's more than a coupla Peter Green fans around here.
D40/D50? I don't think you're going to be able to tell from visual cues (in that video anyway), they both have the "Chesterfield" on the headstock and the primary difference is D40=hog back/sides and D50=rosewood w/ ebony fretboard.
