Tom, you might have had a stronger-than-normal reaction to the first Moderna shot due to your previous COVID infection.
You know, I wondered about that!! For some reason since I'd had the virus and recovered, I thought I would have LESS of a reaction, but that obviously wasn't the case. I hope the next shot is easier, but either way, once it's done and I get a couple of weeks under my belt I'll feel pretty safe. Still gonna wear a mask in crowded places.

Frono, I forgot all about the vitamin D I was taking while I was sick. Good to know!! I'll load up before the second shot!! (y)

Got my second Pfizer dose today, so I'll probably be a little under the weather tomorrow.

Got that 2nd Pfizer dose around 4:30 pm Friday afternoon. Got my morning market, bank, dry-cleaning run done first thing Saturday morning but by mid-morning I was feeling poorly. Basically napped and otherwise laid around the rest of Saturday with mild achiness and occasional low-grade temp. Was fine by Sunday morning. My wife got her 2nd dose of Pfizer about a week ago, was wiped out by her 2nd Pfizer dose - she fared worse than me.

Great now I have something to look forward to! You didn't go to the Mega Site at the Moorestown Mall did you?

The Gloucester County Mega Site at Rowan At Gloucester County. Quite an impressive operation.

The after-effects of my vaccine were not a big deal. I laid around (more so than usual), binge-watched some cooking shows and generally took it easy.

The Mega Site at the Mall was also equally impressive.

I hope I do as well as you did!

My wife went to the mega-site in Rockaway and from the pics and description it sounded like the flashback scene in every zombie movie. It was very well run, but damn.

I got mine at CVS. VERY well run. Took 20 mins including the 15min wait afterwards and there was one person in front of me (all appointment based). The line for the pharmacy was much longer.

Glad you are all getting vaccinated. I'm hoping we can get somewhat back to normal by September. Me and Mrs. Dread are planning a trip to Table Rock Lake at the end of September, for a reunion with my Navy buddies & wives that we had to postpone last summer due to Covid.

I'm also really hoping to get back to singing with the people in the Alzheimer's Units come September. If everyone gets back on board we'll be doing about 20 visits a month again.
