I agree with the identification of the bass, but the video probably is not from 1963. The Starfire Bass was introduced in 1965. There are some specimens with a 1964 serial number but there is no evidence that any were sold or otherwise distributed in 1964.

The Boomtown Rats - Someone's Looking At You, video made for The Kenny Everett show in 1980. Gerry Cott is playing a very Nice Guild 12-string at 2:36. Since leaving the band in 1982, Gerry has become a very successful animal trainer and animal action supervisor, for stage film and TV.
