Rod Stewart with Ron Wood on Letterman, guy in the band with a 12 string dreadnaught with Chesterfield logo. Pretty good version of "Maggie May":

Some neat Guilds in this video from 1970!

15:25 - Bill Haley's band with a Starfire Bass
22:45 - Rare Earth with a black M-75 with Anti-hum pickups and a Guildsby
30:14 - the Youngbloods with a sunburst M-75 with DeArmonds
32:35 - Oliver playing a Guild dread (D-35? D-40?)
48:15 - McKendree Spring with a a D-40E

A much better view of the Starfire Bass in this vid at 43:53.
Also, at 46:37 is Andy Robinson playing a Guild 12-string (F-212XL?)

While listening to Alexi, I have also thought he sounded like Nick Drake...Not trying to copy him, just his voice and style are similar...
Yes, tone , phrasing & even the melodies he sings, it seems to me. Could be just the couple of songs I've heard - I need to hear more for him, only discovered him yesterday after hearing a song in the closing minutes of a House episode!

Watched the two episodes of Billy Connolly's "Made in Scotland" on Amazon Prime last night and learned he was in a band called The Humblebums with Gerry Rafferty and Tam Harvey before he went down the full-time comedian road.

The episodes included several scenes of him playing his Guild 'burst jumbo:

He's not a bad banjo player, either.

I've been listening to a bunch of Elle Cordova (former stage name Reina del Cid) and Toni Lindgren's covers tonight and several of the earlier ones feature a GAD-25. This one really gets going in the second half:

Looks like a couple of T-Birds and a Jet Star Bass...maybe even a couple of Guild amps(?):

Apologies if this one was already posted, but I'm not gonna wade through 21 pages to check...
