My problem is that I want the second guitar, in the BLUE!! Isn't that sad? Why can't i ever get what I want.....damn!! Not that I could play either...... LMAO!! :encouragement:
I believe that this is now CMGs standard routine to inspect and set-up each Cordoba and Guild instrument in Oxnard that comes from Asia. You also can see in the second picture Cordoba ukuleles in the lower rack....there is some US based setup and inspection prior to shipments to dealers.

FYI, while New Hartford never QC'd the MIC/MIK Guilds, they did do Epiphones for Kaman. It's kind of interesting.
It's even got a 1-11/16 nut width. My problem is that I want the second guitar, in the BLUE!! Isn't that sad? Why can't i ever get what I want.....damn!! Not that I could play either...... LMAO!! :encouragement:
Yes, first thing that occurred to me, too.Interesting. If the implication that the factory is overseas is correct then this is evidence that there is some US based setup and inspection prior to shipments to dealers.
100% would buy one immediately. Also Black. Now what we need is a NS Starfire III with DeArmonds......in Caddy Green.
