My spouse and I recently spent two weeks in Turkey (highly recommend it). Our last stop was a seaside resort on a small harbor/bay called Bodrum, positioned on the Agean coast of Turkey. It's a great spot for seafood dining and people watching, not to mention the swimming and fishing opportunities. We had a meal at a highly recommended high-end restaurant, featuring all sorts of tapas sized seafood dishes for a fix price per person. It wasn't cheap, and when paired with four glasses of different wines, paired to the taste of each seafood dish (some very exotic), and was a very enjoyable evening. We spent about 2.5 hours there, and dropped $190 (including the tip). There are less expensive places in Bodrum, but this was very special. Here is a pic taken at night of the pebble beach front where restaurants set up tables and serve up the food from establishments just behind the beach. These places are more reasonably priced.
