Congrats Michael ... What a beauty !!!
I got a 1961er which sounds very good too.
Only one problem ... The microphonic feedback at high volume or when I use a pedal ( Barber Direct Drive and Keeley compressor and Katana).
I'm waiting for my guitartech "henny"-guitargear.be to pot the Franz pickups so I'm able to use the guitar on stage without having the microphonic feedback problems.
I hope the potting happens soon because I'm waiting 4 months now for it to happen.
Or maybe a question for you Walter : Can you recommend someone who could do that for me?
And Michael, have fun with your "Slim Jim". She looks really fantasic !!!

Hi Gerrit - thanks for the comments. NICE trio!!

The guy who built these custom pickups (which are vacuum potted) seems to really know his stuff, so I'm sure he could pot the orignals. Name is Pete Biltoft, company is Vintage Vibe Guitars.

Oh, um... now I see you're in Belgium...

Well, that last post wasn't much help, was it? Unless you're OK with shipping just the pickups.

Sure, just do it yourself, it's actually very easy. Or drop them off at my place if you should happen to be in Antwerp any time soon - I'll do it for you free of charge, as it really is a very small and easy job, and I still have a pot of wax "ready to go".

Thanks Walter, I'll PM you to give you my phone number and maybe you could give me your phone number so that we could arrange an appointment if it fits somewhere in your busy schedule .
I would appreciate that very much.
Btw, I love the new Seatsniffers, "Turbulence" album !!! From beginning to end very good songs and guitar sound! My favourites : Git'r Done, Woman is her name and Boat.

See ya WB
