Howdy, First post!

Anyone know a good source for a repo guard for a Guild S-60, single humbucker model? Thanks!

Stewart McDonald has the material to make one if you have the right tools and some skill. I have neither, so I bought the material and a friend made one for me and there was enough material left over to make one for himself too.

Speaking acoustic PG, ..........is the beveled edge hard to do?..i might give it a try for my Parlour Washburn. Maybe i can find someone and THEY can copy my cardboard cut out plan ( I mean,........ not a standard size or shape) At least, Im thinking!

Just put a "30's" style guard on my Maton. Looks spectacular.

I'll shoot some pictures on Saturday and post them.

Very easy stuff to work ......... immerse in warm water so that it softens, and then cut out your design with the best scissors in the house.
The proverbial piece of piss !

Thanks for the info folks! I have e-mailed pickguard heaven as it seems they have a template for the model. If that does not work out I will most likely go the stew-mac type route and buy some material to rebuild the stock guard. The stock guard is not in too terrible a shape and most of it is still there so it shouldn't be to hard to fix it up a bit. Thanks!

Yes, the original was black.

No, not an adjustable bridge. Those screws secure the under-saddle transducer.

Hope your F20 is in your hands soon mate.

8) Cool,
THAT Must be the best looking Maton about. Those screws look like the ones on my '77 Fender ( made in Japan) 12 string . SHE has an nice adjustable bridge ( I KNOW....PHOTOS!! ) and that is VERY NICE!!
I just noticed ........YOUR F20 is THIRTY YEARS older than Mine
Tuesday is here due date.........but I 'm thinking....maybe MONDAY!!! :D
My only real concern is Aussie customs officers.......nothing untowards to worry about..just wish they'd keep their hands off her altogether!!

I use http://pickguards.us/priceguild.html They are fast, and they will do exchanges/communicate with you quickly if it doesn't fit. Looks like a S-60 cost $35.

They are in the running. I am waiting for an e-mail with a pic of the guard from them to be certain it's the correct one. They said theirs has 15 mounting holes where as mine has 16 so...maybe they just miscounted.
