Another cool Phil Starfire pic!



I saw this on facebook the other day, however just now noticing... almost looks like he moved his strap button to the treble side of the neck joint? Maybe this bass was a little neck-heavy? I've honestly never had an issue with any of my Starfires neck diving. Maybe I've just been lucky. I've certainly had several other basses that were divers, but never a Starfire.

the pic of Bobby w a tele reminded me of this crazzy crazy story, an absolute must read if u never heard about this!! one detail that Bobby does not mention is that the subject tele turned out to be from 1956 and worth into the 5-figures (that point is irrelevant in the context, on several levels, likely why it wasn't mentioned) but still the whole story is crazy
