Man he’s my favorite artist . I caught the last show in 93 in Miami Florida. His encore was Biko . The main stage had a walkway that went out the middle into the audience and there was other stage it had a big tree on it .
He starred singing and at the end each performer walked out to the tree and into it to disappear. While each walked in turns the remaining kept playing until only the drummer was left and his turn was up .
The whole audience was singing and crying like baby’s . It was a powerful show to say the least . Lol

he opened with don’t talk to me , coming up from the under the stage in a phone booth.
as he sang that one as he walk out on that walk way pulling the cord with him as he was singing into the phone at times the phone pulled him back towards the CD phone booth there was a conveyer belt apparently that he was so when the he was pulled back it was like sliding . Pretty cool yet simple set .

shock the monkey concert was great to getting high helped ! Lmao .

I saw him on the tour to promote the US album.

It remains the best concert I have ever seen on all levels of measurement. Best stage craft and theatre integrated with song themes. Best backing band, Paula Cole, Tony Levin, L. Shankar, Manu Katché and more. Best sound. Most enthusiastic and professional performance.

It had also the most mixed audience I have ever seen, an amazing mix of the very elderly and the very young across all ethnicities.

i like his Solsbury Hill song, but most of his stuff was just too poppy for me.
