My new(used) Tele. It's an '80s Tokai copy of the '68 Fender Paisley Red Telecaster.

Are these new acquisitions? Did you make another sweep of the magical pawnshops that provided you with the emerald green Starfire V and the Brian May?

No,I got that one on Ebay. I sent pictures of it to Tokai and they sent me a replacement decal for the headstock.

Cool guitar!

A lot of those Tokai copies of telecasters and stratocasters in the 80s were far superior to the Fender originals.

Very nice. I love paisley tele`s. Since I never can afford a vintage one, I made one. Finished this up a couple of weeks ago.
( sorry for the large pics, don`t know how to make them smaller )

Congrats! 8) I know a guy who has one just like that and he really treasures it. He has some old Fenders too, but he thinks this one is the best. I personally don't like the decorative finish but who cares if it plays great! :D Just sold my two teles (MIM Baja and MIC Thinline) to buy Guilds but I'll be back in the club some day!

Hei Suomalinen Poika, nice guitar! How did those get across the Baltic?

Like Dave said, those are better than the Fenders of the same period, nice work!

That strat in the "pansy-lilac" color is a nice piece too, you are doing good!

Best wishes,

Bill A.

Hi there coastie99

I got the "amoeba " from a fellow member of TDPRI, and then a friend of mine did some more work on it and printed it out on self adhesive vinyl in his shop. Then I cleared it with both clear and some tinted nitro.

But I`m thinking of making my own paisley paper this summer, I`ll let you know when it`s done :)

I bought the S300 from Finland, only 40km away from my home. The S100 Deluxe arrived here last friday and I put up a NGD on the Solid/Chambered section yesterday. The guitar is from a fellow LTG'er in the States so we KEPT IT IN THE FAMILY! :D

OK, I messed up, I thought you had started this thread...

Still, I wonder how a Guild like that shows up "down the street," LOL

Fine pieces!

No burblem and thanks for the compliments! ;)

I guess I haven't even realized how lucky I was to find my first Guild so close. There's a '75 Acorn down that same street by the way and it's going to be mine once I've recovered my wallet
