Just curious to hear what players prefer. I have a lovely t100d with original rosewood bridge, and also a tune o matic. Both have their own charms. What’s the general consensus on that? Cheers and twang on

It really depends on what you want from the guitar.

I like both. Looking forward to trying a Graph Tech Resomax on my old Gretsch 6191, which is kind of in between?

I like both, too. I have a tune o matic type on my NS X-175 and a wood bridge on my X-500. Apples and oranges, I know, but both have advantages. I, too am interested in trying a tru-arc or similar on my X-500.

I have the Mickey Mouse pickups. I do like the woody tone of the original rosewood bridge, but I find the tuno matic more versatile. It’s also more comfortable under the right hand playing close to the bridge. Especially I guess since I prefer a plain G string. Again for its versatility. If I was only playing jazz then a wound G with the rosewood bridge would be fine. But I like to play some blues too. Thanks for the heads up on the new bridges, I’m gonna try it. Twang on Guilders : )

Nothing to add that hasn't been said. I agree that it depends on what you're playing.

I did want to mention that that's a nice Hofner President. :C) My main bass is a '65 Hofner Club.
