I searched the web on the Ashbory Bass. I really didn’t find anything that called it a “Neck Thru”. Strange looking thing though! From what I can tell by the photos it looks like the whole thing is made of a single piece of wood. That is to say that the body, what little there is of it is not glued to the neck, as you would expect to find on a typical neck thru. I think the Ashbory falls into its own little category as a neck without a body?!? :? Just enough wood to stick on a couple of knobs. I got to hear a sound bite of one being played. Wow! Sure makes a lot of bass for such a little thing! :shock:
