On board pre for DARkstar equip starfire

I love the sound of my bass and the pickups but wanted to experiment by adding some active electronics. i ordered some obscure onbard from germany called Noll TCM 3p. it has blend,master volume(pull for passive), stacked knob eq section with adjustable frequency centers for lows,mids,and highs. Before i get knee deep in bass guts just curious what other people have tried.
