I've never played an old Guild acoustic, but I'm starting to get interested in them. I'm considering an old F-47 or F-30, maybe even a F-20. By old I mean 50's-70's. Hans' book offers lot of good info on these models, but I'm curious if any of these models have arched backs? I'm guessing the 30 and 20 do not, but maybe the 47 does. Most importanly, how do they sound? I know the different sizes and materials come in to play, but what kind of tone should I expect? I'd love to play one first, so I'll probably wait until I can find one to play. Although some of these seem hard to find so I might end up getting one off the internet. Post some pics if you've got them.
