I'm no math whiz, but someone showed me that in junior high school and I used to show it to people by doing it out one step at a time. Clearly more impressive before computers and the Internet...

That is very cool.

Once upon a mattress I used to be into number theory. I don't remember seeing this little sequence before. I'll bet this translate into other "bases" as well. Haven't tried it though. Might start playing with it a little...

I'm not really a number guy (unless you count using the Nashville Number System for simple charts), but you might like this:

Some numbers are handy in life, the time, prices, speed limits, etc.

Then they start turning into a bummer, your age, your height, how much time you have left, etc.

I do a math exercise in my head where I start counting, and while counting I start doing other calculations, like multiplications.

I'm left handed so extremely right brained, doesn't make math my primary mover, I'm more guided by feelings.

"Feelings" - Morris Albert

Oh wait! Wrong thread!

Random song review - whenever this song came on the radio, I changed the station as fast as possible.

It looked pretty wild and cool. It took a minute to find the pattern and then it made sense. I suspect someone did a couple in homework and the pattern jumped out at them, and the finished the sequence. I was never great at math all the way through school. I was good enough to be able to move to the next class in math though. All the way through college too. I found that how it's taught makes a big difference.

Cool...I like math..work w. numbers every day.

Been doing a lot of multiplication on paper vs calculator recently as I had noticed I couldnt do multi figure calcs in my head, much better now.

I get odd looks in meetings from the "kids" while doing quick NPV's by hand on a particular property we're discussing.
