Couldn't believe my eyes when I walked into Gryphon and found this incredible one-owner DV-72NT HG on the consignment wall! One strum and I knew it was coming home with me. No cracks, no issues... perfectly kept guitar by the original owner.

I took this pic just before leaving it with Gryphon to put in new SS frets and a K&K pup.

Score! I’ve already got one and I doubt I would have been able to resist.

Congratulations! That's a beautiful guitar, and it must have a sound to match.

I'm glad to see something from you--it's been a while since I've seen your name.

Wow! Major congrats! That is a one in a million. Right place at the right time. While you are having that kind of luck you might as well play the Lottery.

Glad to see you're still enjoying the D-50, Jeff! I never should have sold that one.

Congrats on your find. These DV72's are quite phenominal guitars!!
I recently got one from Sandy and it kinda makes you feel like George Strait when you play it.
I think George's was a pimped out D100 with vine inlay!
George had several Guild's.
He didn't play them much, but damn they sure did look good!

Quite a find! Enjoy!

Would you mind sharing the SN with me... I have been keeping a spreadsheet of DV-7Xs and other high-end Guilds in which I have an interest. I have ~50 of the ~250 DV-72s made in '93-'94. You can PM it to me, if you would rather not share it publicly. Thnx, Dave
