Not FS: My Orange X170T

So just to prove The Mighty Q right, this guitar is no longer for sale. Why? I'll tell you why.

I was telling my kids (9 and 11 yo girls) about my guitars for sale and they cried "Which ones?"

"The orange one, the..."

"No! Not the orange one! I love the orange one!", the little one whined.

"Why?"

"That's the guitar that you taught me Stray Cat Strut on!"

I'm screwed. My kids are now developing emotional attachments to my guitars. Now I'll keep it for years, tell her it just didn't sell, let her play it, then give it to her when she's old enough to not sell it for rent.

How about a 78 d50nt?

As much as I'd love an old Guild Acoustic, the one time I got to try a D50 I didn't like the neck.

That's fine.. I really love my d50. I am just really gassing for a hollow body, and cannot get these Guild's out of my head..
I was thinking about picking up a dearmond for a quick fix, but I think I would ultimately be disappointed because it is not the real thing..

I don't blame you for dumping the X-170 and going with the Gretsch, but like I said, I'd dump the Gretsch too and pick up an
X-160. It blows both the Gretsch and the X-170 away.

The X-160 doesn't have as many switches and knobs, but if you want a great body and hot pickups, the X-160 is the BEST GUITAR EVER MADE.
