After some considerable searching, I think this guitar I bought ‘as new’ must’ve hung in the shop next to it’s black partner for 10 years. It is hollow, with no access plates on back ans is made in Korea. When I bought it, I was not aware of the available variations such as the made in China, chambered, with access covers on back version that is the current version. I feel like I lucked out getting this early model and am completely happy with the look, sound and feel of this one. I am gifting it to my grandson for graduation.
I am tempted to really go wild and extend my budget for the identical black one that I left behind at the local store.

Thanks so much for the link to detailed info - all in one place! Guild does seem to have allowed a lot of changes not specifically mentioned in the literature as the place of manufacture or country of origin changed. I am so happy to have found an early version of the made in Korea guitar. In fact, mine is just a few hundred later than the one pictured in the article; 014 is shown and I have number 725. I don’t know how it got to Montana but I am glad it did and glad I found it before I found a MIC one. Yay!! Thanks again.

I have number 725.
I'd say she was made in first half 2013 but we had discussed earlier that it looked like the factory in Korea forgot to switch the stamps from KSG12 to KSG13 and only in August 2013 the first KSG13 showed up. More than 1000 KSG12 stamped were made (over all models). Anyway, she is one of the early models made.

The first black version came out mid 2013 (still with KSG12) as limited edition of only 40 pieces with gold hardware, the first serial numbers were in the 900 rage, here is one slightly below 1000:

Later on the model came out as production version with chrome hardware, so those have for instance 2015 serial numbers:

Beautiful guitar! If you are actually trying to not go back and buy the black one, you came to the wrong place! The sunburst Aristocrat is being gifted to your grandson so you NEED the black one for yourself!

These are really excellent guitars. (I have 3 of them : one goldtop, one black with guildsby added and another black one with flatwounds ;-)) So my advice is : buy that black one !

Now that's really close! Hope you can get her! Bing Schmitt, the store owner, is actually a member here at LTG (BingK) and he was a Guild dealer and had first hand access to many Guilds, he also has some very limited GSR T-500 from end of 2012 still in the store. So say hello to him from LTG!

I came very close to buying one of these years ago, but demurred, as I have similarly-shaped Les Pauls I like a lot (I know they are very different guitars). See below.

One of the things I liked about the M-75 was the light weight. It sounded good, but as I was testing it out in the store, I had feedback issues after adding overdrive, and felt it might be a problem on gigs, so I passed. Also, I wasn't crazy about the color choice. All they had was sunburst at that point, and I'm generally not a sunburst fan.

I hope you enjoy yours.

You could add a post that connects the front and back of the guitar. That should reduce feedback even further.

Personally I don't have feedback problems with my aristocrats, certainly not with the one with bigsby added but I only play at home.
