this is actually not that guitar. this is a SF-1 w Dearmond pickup and Guildsby, that until today I only saw her keyboard player play once, w the band Alberta Cross, and never NJ.

the one i have seen her play, like in my Down by the River video, is a SF-3 w mini hums.

There are older videos of her playing what has been perceived as a SF-3 w DeArmonds, but may in fact be the same SF-1 we are seeing her play today.

So there are 2, possibly 3 Starfires in her arsenal. Honestly
I would ask her, (should i ever see anybody ever again in the flesh...), but doubt I would get a straight answer.

That was beautiful.

Also, all these livestreams from these nice spaces make me realize my house is kind of a rat hole....

That's an odd comment? What makes you think that? Did I miss a headline or thread about the big Norah Jones vintage Starfire conspiracy?
She obviously loves vintage guitars and classic Guilds, I bet she loves to talk about them just as much as all of us guitar geeks.

maybe i could have made that more clear but ultimately, no, they are not gear heads like that. quite the opposite. i feel like i have already asked her about it actually, and the conversation went something like this:

"do u have 2 Guild Starfires or 3?"
"yes, it is a Guild Starfire 3"
"what about the other one with the other pickup?"
"i think they are humbucker pickups"
"i know the one u play with this band has humbuckers"
"i mostly always play my 1965 Fender Mustang with this band, you know that Eric. would u mind getting me another Jameson on the rocks?"

there are definitely three vintage red Starfires in the mix. the SF-1 w DeArmond, a SF-3 w DeArmonds, and the SF-3 w mini hums/anti hums.

here is the confirmation:

I will try to investigate, but it will def be a while with the way things are going right now. the SF-1 may belong to a band mate. Could very well be hers though. If so, I would maybe question if she still has all three, but she probably does. the bigger question for me is that the two SF-3's she definitely does own, are both identical to the two SF-3's Jerry Garcia owned/played back in 1965-1966 ish. and so i am curios if there is maybe something going on there?
