But what was the question?

From Post #14 ...I guess you have to have read Douglas Adams..."...the answer to life, the universe and everything..."

While I have not seen that particular film, I am guessing that is a clip from The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe.

Definately not Forty Six & 2

Yes, this! Plus the protein profile is as complete as with real meat. Might as well just eat regular ol' vegetables, greens and beans and throw in a little bit of pasta with it.
Watched a program where sociologists and nutritionists studied the earth's "blue zones", which are geographical places with the highest history of, and concentration of, centenarians. They were in Sardinia looking at the typical diet and it's the exact opposite of what today's weight loss gurus preach. All these 100+ yr old people have been eating a high carb/low protein diet their whole lives. Lots of veggies, breads, pastas....very little meat. (That and daily walking of steep hills to get to the pub for one of several daily glasses of wine! :p )

Might be time to reread the books. :)

The answer given by Deep Thought was 42, but nobody knew what the actual question was, so a giant living computer was built to determine the question. Spoiler: that computer was Earth.

The video clip is from the BBC TV series and is set at the restaurant at the end of the universe. The "Meat" is played by Peter Davidson who was the fifth doctor in Doctor Who.
Sorry, I posted 4th doctor originally. That was Tom Baker😳

Trillian was played by Sandra Dickinson, who was married to Peter Davidson at the time. Things get really interesting here, as their daughter, Georgia Moffett went to play Jenny, in the Doctor Who episode The Doctor's daughter, a character that was made from altered DNA taken from The Doctor. Georgia later married the then (and current ) Doctor, David Tennant and now have four children together, plus one from a previous relationship. So she is both The Doctor's daughter and wife and her children are the children and the grandchildren of The Doctor. It's all "Timey Wimey"
