The subject says it all. I’d like for the HB1’s to be original to the guitar.

So it may not exist? Dang!! I always thought it was an option?I’m no Hans, but I think that’s gonna be a tough one. I’m eager to be proven wrong.
Oh, it may exist. I don't know if I've seen any. Let me check my NightbirdPages archive and see if he recorded any.So it may not exist? Dang!! I always thought it was an option?
I think it must be time to release it back to the wild
Take a look at page 15 of the 1990 Guild catalog!I cannot say if the pickups were original, but they certainly do seem to match the look of the rest of the hardware.
Of course!
You’d like that, wouldn’t you.I should also add that I'm an idiot because I have X2000 #1 which has HB1s:

That’s ok, seems like 90% of the Guilds I buy need repairsYou’d like that, wouldn’t you.
Sadly, it needs a repair.
They might not be original to that guitar, look at the extra holes in the rings. So that guitar had other pickups at some point in time and those HB-1 might be simply replacements. There are "a lot" of converted EMG to HB-1 Nightbirds out there (like my one) but Dave is looking for one with original HB-1.I found another one with HB1's (I think), so this makes it four.

Reply moved here to clean up this thread: https://letstalkguild.com/ltg/index.php?threads/the-nightbird-pages.209428/BTW @GAD since you mentioned it, is there any chance that the NightbirdArchives page is "translated" into modern website code and made open to the public again? I would be willing to support the process if I can! To be honest though, I am quite a duffer as soon as I get near a computer...
