Yes, nice pair indeed! The model-500 on the left is from 1963 and the model-400 on the right, which is actually a 'Duane Eddy Jr.', was completed at the very end of 1962, just before Christmas! The 'Junior' has probably spent a little more time in the case and I have my doubts about the pickguard on that one!

Those are dream guitar's for me.
I'm pretty sure a 17" slim body Guild with DeArmond or Franz pickups would be close to perfect.
